Forever Entertainment has signed an agreement with Square Enix to create and release several remakes of games based on one brand owned by the Japanese company, Forever Entertainment said in an announcement. The company's share price is up by more than 10%.
The name of the game, based on which the Polish company is to create the so-called remake, is to be announced in a separate report as soon as the global marketing campaign is launched.
Remake is a new version of a previously released game. Forever Entertainment's productions based on Square Enix's brand will feature new visuals, but the gameplay and scenario will remain consistent with the original version.
For its share in the project, the Polish producer is to receive more than 50 percent of revenues from games on all platforms.
The company will cover the costs of the contract from its own funds.
Square Enix is a Japanese company which produces and publishes video games. The company has been in existence since 1975 and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. (PAP Business)
