So I recently bought Acer Nitro 5 with Intel i7 12th gen and RTX 3070ti but I feel the performance is not up to the mark. I have tried multiple games like God of war, Battlefield 2042, The last of us, etc and it's been struggling to even get stable 60 FPS even in the lowest settings with DLSS max performance on. What is wrong with my laptop, and how can I troubleshoot it?

Or is it just me being paranoid, and it's normal?

Update: The average CPU clock frequency stays between 1600-1700MHz during most benchmarking apps and games. Can it be due to single stick 16gb ram causing the CPU to bottleneck? Ambient room temperature: 35 C

Update 2(Resolved): Thanks for your overwhelming support, I was able to increase the 3d mark time spy score from 9100 to 11,300.

• Is Acer Nitro 5 really that bad?

My 2 gamer friends recommended me this laptop because the cooling system is great but when I go to r/GamingLaptops, I kept on seeing the hate(few recommend it) and they mostly recommend Lenovo Legion 5. I just bought brand new Acer Nitro 5 (7 5800h, 3060) last week. Although I have never encounter a problem yet. Should I change or stick with it?
