The interactions of all the characters and the whitty dialog always had me laughing. Gone way too soon.

This one flew under my radar until a few days ago. I have Amazon Prime and have been checking out various popular TV series but none of them really caught my interest. Then I just somewhat-randomly tried "Better Off Ted" and it had me hooked from the first episode. Lot's of hysterical laugh-out-loud moments.
I'm only 1/2 way through the first season and am really bummed that there are only two seasons. Apparently it flew below everybody else's radar also. Kinda' reminds me of Arrested Development in its quirky humor.
Anyway, just wanted to say it's a great comedy so far and I recommend it to to anyone looking for something new (old) to watch.

I'm re-watching and I forgot how perfect this show is despite it only having two seasons and of course being cancelled way too early. It's a bummer it's no longer on Hulu or another streaming service, it needs to find a permanent and more accessible home so more people can discover the magic of this show.
Related, I was kind of disappointed that the creator of this show went on to make Santa Clarita Diet, a show that I could never finish. It completely misses the dark humor and heart that made Better Off Ted a unique treat. I love Timothy Olyphant and the combination of him working with Victor Fresco should have been better IMO.
Who else has seen Better Off Ted? What are some other shows like it?

It's a shame when there are all these great comedies cut down before their time on the network channels like NBC, Fox and ABC meanwhile CBS's garbage for the 60-89 demographic goes on for 10 seasons.
I'm surprised a show like Superstore lasted as long as it did, 6 seasons. It also fell under my radar and then finally watched it and it was like a more comfortable to watch The Office with a setting I like more, a Walmart type chain.
Trial and Error felt a little like Parks and Rec lite with the whole wacky middle American town but had a ton of potential.
The Grinder not even getting another season is just criminal and I can't believe Fox just up and canceled it, Fred Savage's long time return to front of the camera and an amazing Rob Lowe to boot.
Better Off Ted is from a long line of amazing ABC shows with terrible titles that just keep getting canceled like Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23.

I mean I do love Modern Family a lot but I can't believe how many great comedies ABC has canceled. I can't believe no one watched these great shows, I know ABC gave Happy Endings and Suburgatory a fair chance, having them go on for 3 seasons, so I can't hate them for that.
But it's just a darn shame.
OH, and then there's the short lived "Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23" which I also found was kinda nice.
I know this has been said a lot. And it hurts that the two seasons is all we get. I want to invent inter-dimensional travel so I can find a universe where the show is on season 12. I have watched this show so many times. I still laugh hard at all the jokes. Every actor peaked in this show. They were all so perfect! I hate whomever canceled this show.
