Question regarding the translation of "Cell Block Tango" Question regarding the translation of "Cell Block Tango"

Someone I met online is trying to make a Chinese translation of the song "Cell Block Tango" from the musical "Chicago", but there's a problem when it comes to June's part.

June's husband Wilbur accused her of infidelity, saying "You've been screwing the milkman", and because June was played by an black actress in the film version of the musical, the translator assumes that the word "milkman" has a connotation of "white man" (they believe that Wilbur was accusing June of having an affair with a white man).

However, I've searched online and can't find anything supporting this speculation, only that housewives having affairs with milkmen being a trope/stereotype. Could a native English speaker help clarify this to me? Is this speculation right or wrong? Thank you very much!
