Hi I played the original gunz as a kid and loved it of course and I see some of you are still playing.
Now does anyone have a video or tutorial to show me how to move like yal do?
Also what client/pserver are you guys playing/recommend? I prefer not to pay to win, don't mind paying for cosmetics
yk the symbols when u get a headshot, or those wings, does anyone have a png, or the animations itself of them?
Hi, I've recently remembered this game exists and got excited. I loved it as a kid. I rememeber when it first came out the loadingscreens had some fun sketchy art showing and explaining the different moves in the game.
Does anybody know where I can find those old artworks? I was able to find this single one here:
this is crazy, I just saw a naraka video of a combo that reminded me of gunz the duel so I looked it up, I can't believe it still exists! I played this SO long ago!!
is there anything new or is it the exact same?
like if the meta loadout was something like:
-
a high dmg rifle
-
a weapon that can be effectively comboed with the rifle
comboing 2 weapons that need more aim than shotguns, imo could make the loadout more versatile, effective and skill expressive
even better would be if k-style was somehow possible with an automatic as the second weapon
I'm Viet, played on Fgunz and I noticed that I would always get like 200ms+. I've heard that Gunz doesn't really matter when it comes to Ping, but as a newbie with little to no experience /: I barely understand what's going on. So what server should I play on? Fgunz or fxp or whatever

Q: wep 1, E: wep 2
-
Scroll up: wep 1, Scroll down: wep 2
-
mix of the two above
for all
M5: melee wep, M4: reload
I'm thinking about migrating to Linux, Fedora probably, but I know there are a lot of things that don't work on it, like some games, do you know if it would be possible to play fxp gunz or fgunz? tty ffor ur attention <3
I use my index but was curious to see how many ppl actually use middle finger on sw. Thinking about making the change
I asked a Korean fighting game player today if he knows about GunZ and he said everyone in Korea knows about that game.
Dunno if it's an exaggeration when he said 'everyone' but was it really popular back then?
Apart from aim, what are the factors that come to mind?
I've seen so many interactions where two players that are proficient in K-style duke it out in either Duels, TDM or CW and one of them can consistently beat the other. All I see are bread and butter K-style moves that's happening but what's going on here that makes one a high level player while the other a mid level player?
I feel like a huge part of this game is going unseen under all these movements. I'm missing the point of these movements even though I can do them too (not the harder ones), help me out here please.
I have always played with the standard late dash keybinds (Reload on Scroll click and Sword on Scroll up) but it tends to break my mouse quite often and I think I could aim better if I didn’t have to use my middle finger on scroll wheel all the time.
Does anyone know any keybinds that can work for Late dash without the scroll wheel? Pretty much everyone I know use this same exactly setup.
Edit: In case someone find this thread, I tried a lot of buttons combinations and I’m probably going to use Shift for reload and right click for sword. I can late dash with this setup without even practicing.
One for traversing around the map and one for evasive maneuvers while having a gun fight.
I'm guessing triple flash step might be the fastest for traversing but I don't know about the combat one.
Whether you are an old ijii-days player or a new private servers-day player, share with me on how you got to a decent level of play where you can start holding your own in DMs and TDMs.
How did you practice, how long it took, when did it start clicking, and stuff like that. Fire away!
The Koreans should be playing against each other in their server since the game released right? There should be very little latency and no need for leading their shots.
How does this fact factor in the Lead vs Anti Lead debate?
