I am once again asking that everyone posting here please go read the rules. I have set up an auto-comment on every post as a reminder. If rule-breaking posts continue at the rate they have been, I will have to do something more drastic. The point of this sub is to post things other than long text descriptions; there are many other bookish subreddits better suited for you if you want to verbally describe exactly what you're looking for in a book. I want to stay true to the original idea of this subreddit because I think it's great for people who find books based on vibes.
Regarding AI- I am firmly against AI art being shared. It has been in the Rules for a while and I remove multiple posts daily but it doesn't seem to be getting better. If you disagree with this and want to post AI, this isn't the sub for you. AI steals from real artists and won't be allowed here. If the amount of AI being posted doesn't decrease I will have to start issuing temp bans.
Finally, please remember that there is a search feature. For example, variations of “dark academia” with the same photos have been posted many many times, you can type keywords into the search bar to find previous posts regarding what you’re looking for.
Let me know if you think a flair system would be appreciated, wherein you can click on the flair (for example, “dark academia,” “fantasy,” “YA” etc) and see previous posts with the same flair. This is something I’ll think about for the future.
