A slow paced and relaxing city builder based in a bright and colourful sci-fi universe. The game never truly hits 5th gear and suffers from a lack of late game options. Overall a good effort and something to try when you want to play away a few hours in a peaceful manner.

I was disheartened by the number of people in the comments section of Aven Colony #5 (on youtube, not here) saying they just wanted more This is the Police. Honestly I am enjoying both series and hope that Aven Colony doesn't go the way of Mad Games Tycoon.
The youtube comments are a bit much. Even for Mad Games Tycoon, sips was getting a very good ratio of likes to dislikes despite the complaints. Obviously the majority of viewers liked it, but a vocal minority was upvoting all the complaints in the comments. I wasn't a huge fan myself, but I'd rather sips see a series through to some logical end instead of jumping around, especially if he likes the game. I think the community is sort of shooting itself in the foot by pushing sips to abandon a series he was enjoying.
