1) Quick census! For first-timers, may I ask why you wanted to watch this series? A few of you did mention it being in your PTW for a long time. For rewatchers, [Aria]who's your favourite mentor-mentee pair (please use spoiler tags!) And for both, has anyone here been to Venice?
2) What do you reckon would've happened if Ai did get her requested tour with Alicia?

Comments I loved:
Everyoneโs still struggling with them names! Iโm the worst with Akari and Akira with how similar they are. Good to read everyone's takes on the Akira-Aika pair too!
u/Animayor talks about their experiences with the real Acqua Alta during their visit to Venice
u/The_Loli_Otaku with the great reactions and summary as always, and notices that Aria-shachou has a bumhole. And absolutely nails the sheer amount of A-starting names already presented to us
u/Preludetohell continues the great analysis of the showโs directing choices, I particularly liked the bit about the flashback scene.

/u/eyliel comments on how Akari takes time travel way too casually (my opinion: this does show part of her personality too), and wonders why they built that covered bridge out of wood, when they just terraformed the planet and wood might be scarce (v good point!)

Quite a few first-timers did think Athena was different from their expectations! I'll say that was true for my first time as well. Happy to see some people liking the Alice-Athena pair most for now too! Most notably...
/u/the_loli_otaku has fallen hard for Athena, and is embarking on their campaign to tell everyone why she is best girl
/u/punching_spaghetti remarks on Alice's punish-left-hand campaign being a leftie themselves
/u/cerberuszx points out that Alice Carroll's name is a reference to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (it's by Lewis Carroll)
/u/regular_n-gon thought that the episode's direction and writing wasn't as strong as the previous ones
