Papa Murphy's
For when a pizza has been so poorly crafted, or mistreated, you feel like a legitimate crime has been committed.
We live down near the Leonard location and there's been a handwritten sign saying it's only temporarily closed, but it's been a month. Spouse drive past the Kentwood one but it was closed too. Did anyone know if they're closing up the area or what's going on? Papa Murphy's was a great part of my weekend
All about Boise and the Treasure Valley. Any posts relevant to the Treasure valley that follows the posted rules is welcome. From potato memes to the potato drop.
Used to be a great option to delivery, and cost a lot less. Yesterday I ordered a medium cowboy, a medium garlic chicken, and a monkey bread (just dough with seasonings). With a $4 tip it came to $50! I don't spend that much on delivery! Pizza was still great (I love the cowboy). But Jiminy! Doesn't seem worth it for carryout, and it's certainly not a "cheap" option anymore.

Feel like I just discovered them last year and suddenly it seems like every location in the city is closed. Boo.
The quasi-compulsory aspect of American tipping culture is toxic and frustrating, and the U.S. should move towards a transparent, up-front pricing culture – e.g., the prices you see on the menu are what you pay in total. Posts here include action plans, info on cool service-included restaurants and other tipping-related news, and yes, even (reasonable, non-hateful) rants.
It was the normal BS, the screen asked me for a tip when I put in my card. I hit no tip with my finger assuming it was a touch screen but the cashier told me I had to use the stylus and it seemed like I had to press extra hard but I had accidentally hit 15% ($3) and it didn't give me the option to confirm it so I had paid $3 more than I wanted to. It is only $3 but it is the principal that pisses me off. I never tip at a place like this because they aren't even doing anything. They are just making the pizza. It is a take and bake so they aren't even cooking it in this case. I am annoyed that the screen even asks me for a tip.

I cant find a good take and bake pizza in the Dayton area anymore. Ever since Papa Murphys left 48 in Centerville theres been a pizza size hole left in the community I feel. I ask around and it seems I am the only one in my family that actually went there often, am I the only one that feels the need to bake their own pizza in the area?
I've got a bunch of Papa Murphys im wanting to cook on the GMG pizza oven this weekend. I tried doing a test pizza last night, but realized getting the pizza off the card board tray they come on was a challenge to say the least. What have other people done to cook these? Couple ideas ive had so far are:
-
Leave them on the cardboard. Either for the whole cook or part of it. Im not sure if its rated high enough to not burn up.
-
Freeze them and pull the cardboard off frozen. Probably have to put them in the oven frozen too.
-
Stolen from a post here. Put a different pan on top of the pizza, flip upside down, remove the cardboard abd put corn meal down, put the peel on top and flip back over.
So let's hear it. How do you go about getting them in the oven.

What's up with all the Papa Murphy's locations showing up closed on Google Maps? Wife went to order and now they aren't even showing up on the app as having Hawaii locations at all! Anyone got some info?
