The only things I know about deck building are whatever I absorbed via trial and error, so there’s probably plenty of simple stuff I am missing.

Was trying to make a setup that quickly deploys stage 2 supports and my vmax, the issue is that I just cannot get the setup to go any faster.

I’m playing standard, but the outdated standard ptcgo still uses.

Deck contains:

x1 Cramorant V (Only basic pokemon, so guaranteed to start with)

x3 Centiskorch VMAX (Brought in via dream ball. Initially I would bring in orbeetle first, but thinking I’ll start to take this guy in first so I’m not so vulnerable.)

x2 SWSH Base Centiskorch (Backup option if cramorant causes opponent to take a ton of mulligans, or they’re just low on cards)

x2 Battle Styles Orbeetle (Brings in the Stage 2s. Brought into play by cramorant grabbing dream ball + peonia, and then sniping the weakest pokemon on opponent’s bench.)

x2 PKMN GO Charizard (One of the supports orbeetle adds to bench. Doubles the value of each fire energy)

x2 PKMN GO Blastoise (Other stage 2 support. Ability allows me to add 6 basic energy from deck to any pokemon)

x2 ST Hypnos (Was gonna be for stage 1s, also summoned with dream ball, but the only stage 1 is centi so will replace this when I trade for more cramorants)

x4 Dream Ball x3 Peonia x2 Energy Recycler x2 Old Rod x2 Pal Pad x2 Allister x2 Cook

x23 Fire Energy x6 Psychic Energy

Once I get set up it’s a pretty solid deck and once I’m at that point I almost always win, but I’m just not sure how (or if) I can make the setup go fast enough to make this consistently useable. When I lose it’s usually right at the start of the game.
