Is Will immortal now?

Having won his fight and taken in the dragon factor Will is both shown and explained to no longer be entirely human, however he is also warned by Stagnate's herald that this comes with certain repercussions. I'm wondering how much of a dragon factor will has taken in, with the continued themes of death, life and immortality the idea that Will may have received the dragons immortality as well seems like a natural continuation of this plotline and a good foil to Will's own beliefs in the goddess Gracefeel. Not only this but it would certainly allow for more time to pass with Will remaining the main character alongside many of his friends who are predominantly long lived species who seem to be becoming leaders among their people on a large scale. The story seems inclined to this, with the timeline moving forward at a rather fast pace and with many of them inheriting or earning power, land and the responsibility to lead. I would write this off as purely speculation but when Will returns to Gus and informs him of his dragon fact the scene shifts to Will standing beside Gus at Mary and Blood's graves with Gus telling Will "This is a curse you know", "this" in my mind seemed to be referring to living longer than your comrades and having to watch them die / live without them.

Just to be clear I am neither saying I think this is how the story should go, nor that I wish it would do so (Though it could make for an interesting conflict considering Will swore to never give up until he dies effectively eliminating suicide as an option). It just seems to me that the story could be headed in this direction though I am far from certain of this. It's just my own guess and I would love to hear everyone else's opinions on this, whether they be their own speculation or completely debunking mine lol!

Faraway paladin anime/novels are a joke. Literally everyone side character gets a love interest besides William. I thought “mhh, maybe Anna at some point” but no she gets with reystov. Like the author is Lowkey running this series. Everyone will get hitched but William. Brings down the value of show Faraway paladin anime/novels are a joke.
