Do you take photos of Tarot? Do you take photos of Tarot?
💭 Discussion

I stepped away from woo stuff for a while, just not finding the time to focus or put energy into the preparation my mind needed to practice, comes along with having a very dependent small child. And now that she's grown some and is a bit more independent I've found myself drawn back into my learning curve and trying to find where I fit and where I'm comfortable.

I am not seasoned in woo vernacular, feel free to correct me.

To my story. I am naturally drawn to Tarot. I like to do a daily "past, present, future" for myself which is more like conscious, subconscious, focus. Today was the first day I'd done one in over a year. I did a simple spell for myself. I pulled my cards. I liked the spread. It spoke wonders to me. I hadn't ended my ritual yet, but I wanted a photo of my workspace and the cards so I could reflect on them later. So I snapped a photo with my phone closed the photo app, and set my phone down. No sooner did I set my phone down on my workspace then it froze and proceeded to reset. Curious, but I didn't think much of it. So I did my normal closing ritual and put everything away. Later, I unlocked my phone and pulled up the photo app, where the thumbnail of the photo I just snapped was waiting for me, but when I clicked on it to open the photo, the screen backed out and the thumbnail was no longer there. Curious. I will probably no longer take photos of an open ritual.

I'm just opening a conversation here and would like to know if something similar has ever happened to you? Or what your thoughts on photography/filming in connection to woo are.
