TW: Suicide, Self-Harm

Real quick, if the words prepare-to-die-of-feelings-edition ring any bells then stop reading, spoilers...

Anyways--

The idea for this one-shot is for the party to question whether or not they are dreaming, half of which, are.

All party members have been kidnapped; they are each placed in identical yet separate rooms, each room has a single door, a chair that the party member wakes up in, and a single person of varying gender standing in front of each of them.

Once the party members wake up, the person in front of each of them ask each a simple question, "Do you think this is real?", have the question vary slightly between each person to not give away suspicion.

Before the party member can move or answer, have the person standing in front of them slit their own throat. If the party decides to inspect the bodies, have them showing signs of self-harm, again in varying ways.

Once a party member decides to leave the room have them enter what looks to be a disorderly potions lab with door on the other side of the room and a locked door along the left wall. Despite the disorder of the room, have the PM notice a single vial somewhere in the room labeled 'Truth', let them know it is poison. Around the room can be any potions you want as long as they can't reveal the nature of the place they are in.

Once they PM leaves the room have them encounter multiple 'trials', this can range from anything like encountering a low-level enemy to full-on death trap. After each encounter subtly mention something about the truth in some way, be it the concept or the just saying the word in passing. Don't mention the potion itself until the final trial, this can be in room number whatever-you-want, if they still haven't taken the poison by now, have there be a door in the room that contains some kind of exit, be it a ladder, a staircase, or a long tunnel, each room should vary between PMs.

Once all the PMs reach the final room(or at least the ones who haven't drunken the poison have) and entered their escape room, have all the ones who are awake reach the exit, which leads them to a giant field near the last town the party was in, but if any of the PMs who were actually dreaming go into the escape room tell their players that they fall into a never ending loop that the party will then need to wake them up from(treat it like a coma basically).
