It comes and goes randomly has been doing this for years now, ive replaced the 02 sensor was fine for a few months then it popped on. Always chalked it up to bad cat byt could care less on replacing it until the light wont go away on uts own. I started to look more into it and am thinkjng possible exhaust leak now, i smell gas randomly, car can feel sluggish at times.

Regardless im looking for people who have had this problem, im in California which makes getting a cat that much mkre expensive. If youve had this code what was the problem fkr you? How much was the cat, how much was it to find and repair exhaust leak if you went that route?
