UPDATE: a previous post I was reaching out for information or help with my 1st task as a USAA trainee. The task was bank reconciliation. If he would at least just told me that I could've figured it out a lot sooner. HOWEVER things have started to get real fishy

The 2nd day of training the instructor { I don't want to say his name for obvious reasons) sent me over a list of office supplies, equipment, and computer programs to price online and send in as a table on excel with the overall total. the 2nd part of the task was to setup a bitcoin account and send him over the login information so he could " Link it with my employee acct."

Day 3 He asked which banks I have accounts at and If I have any credit card accounts. I gave him the names of the 2 banks I use the least or not at all and told him /i had one credit card. The man says okay I sent you a task. The task was telling me to send: routing and account number, front and back picture of the card to each account, and my login information for online banking. !RED FLAG! There was no reason stated as to why he needed me to send over this information. My bf and I talked about it and decided on telling him that my bf is on the credit account with me and he doesn't feel comfortable giving his information out online.

That night the instructor msgs me and tells me to go online and set up a checking account with USAA . I asked why he needs all these banks on file he says so they can make deposits into my account and link my banks with my employee profile. I also needed to go online and set up a checking account with USAA. I let him know I do not meet the requirements to bank with them, He says just call them and tell them you are trying to set up an account.

I knew this wasn't gonna work but I was thinking maybe I needed to let them know I am an employee. After letting the rep know My parents nor I were members o the military, she had to deny the account. So I said does me being a company Trainee make a difference? She was like oh yeah your account should already be started up the first day that you start training and send your identity docs in. SO AS i WAS EXPECTING SHE DIDN'T FIND ME IN THE SYSTEM. she tried a few things an then asked who told me to set up a checking account bc they normally do it for you.

At this point I am up to my ass in red flags, I told him what happened, he said he would speak to HR.

Day 4 my task was to go set up an account at BOA and to deposit 100 or at least 80 into my wells Fargo account and let it sit there until i get the check they are sending me in the mail for my equipment. so after I give you my banking information for the purpose of you making a deposit into my account and spending 2 days on my personal bank accounts you say I need to keep 100 in my account so it doesn't look strange when i deposit the check they are sending for the equipment...

next day he makes a sexual pass at me and also asked if we could build a personal relationship outside of work. He assigned one task and wasnt available for hours right after to help at all. I sent my work to him and told him i kept coming up with two answers an asked which one was correct or both wrong . He replied yeah it's right put it on a spreadsheet. so 'i asked again which was the answer and could he tell me what I missed in detail. his reply was sure send it in. He never explained shit. this was the end of week 1.

week 2 (last week) there was bank reconciliation Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday he told me to apply to these credit unions that both declined me bc I do not live in the specified states. Thursday and Friday the task was to write papers on stuff not relevant to being a payment processor at all. So in a two week span, I have only really learned one thing. He made a couple of very inappropriate passes at me during this week. On Friday I asked him how long training lasted he said 2/3 weeks . I said we are at the end of week 2 now and have only learned about bank reconciliation we have not went over literally anything about the job role except what the position title is, and we spent more time on my personal banking information than anything. I have not filled out any tax forms or paperwork period payment for training is this week supposedly so how will you pay me if i have not completed the tax forms . he syas they do not tax during training. today Started with bank reconciliation AGAIN!! He also wanted me to send my new username an password for wells fargo so he could check the balance statement. I am not sending anything else until I have some answers...

I applied for this job on indeed and was contacted by email from what seemed to be a legit USAA email I was sent a link to the USAA site to complete my interview questions. This same person emailed me back 2 weeks later with a letter of employment That also seemed to be a legit document. I was sent another link to join the instructor in MS teams .

I REALLY NEED SOME ANSWERS. If this is a scam I've spent 2 weeks working for nothing and turned down two other jobs. Who should I contact at the company about this?
