Is Hulking Figure OP? Is Hulking Figure OP?

Basically what it says on the tin. For a reminder for folks, the text of Hulking Figure is:

Strength 13 or higher

You are a broad and formidable size for your race, either due to extensive training or natural built. You gain the following benefits:

  • You count as one size larger (to a maximum size of large) when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, and lift.

  • When you hit a creature with a melee attack, if you used your strength modifier to hit the creature, you deal an additional 1d4 damage. This damage is of the same type as the weapon attack.

  • Whenever you attempt a Charisma (intimidation) check against a creature of your size or smaller, you can add your Strength modifier to the result.

My DM wants to nerf the feat because my barbarian is getting an extra 3d4 worth of damage a turn at the moment. (Just hit level 5 and have a wrath axe, so I've got extra attack and bonus action attack.) He feels that this is too much damage and wants to make it so the bonus damage only happens once a round. I feel that this is a bit silly personally given that this is kind of the peak of the damage for the feat. I'm not going to be getting more attacks going forwards from here, while spells and sneak attack damage and what not will continue to scale. However, I also realize that I could be biased given no one likes THEIR character being nerfed. So if I'm right or wrong, please say so, and why? Much thanks.

Customer Service Update Customer Service Update
General

I came to this subreddit about a week ago asking if my experience with Ghostfire Gaming's customer service was a fluke; it was not.

I purchased the hardcover Grim Hollow: The Monster Grimoire (in stock) on the first of july and all I've received is an automated receipt.

I have, since then, purchased ANOTHER 3rd party book from a different small company, received my order confirmation, my shipping confirmation, my tracking information, and my product.

I submitted no less that 5 tickets over the course of two weeks asking for some kind of estimation for my order process. Not even a shipping/tracking number, I just wanted to know they SAW my order and it was going to be processed.

I've received no response.

Not only that, but I've been blocked from the Ghostfire Gaming website. I cannot apply for a refund or cancellation, nor can I leave a review for my terrible experience. Not only that, but when on the website without an account, I've noticed that there isn't a single one-star review for the monster Grimoire! That's insane! Just statistically speaking there's bound to be someone who's unhappy, but zero 1 star reviews? and now that I've been blocked I think I understand why!

Ghostfire Gaming has stolen from me. Genuinely stolen. I've been scammed. And by the number of unhappy people on my last post, I don't believe I'm the only one!
