Summer Nostalgia: 80’s Dance Party Featuring DJ Dynamo of Vortex Summer Nostalgia: 80’s Dance Party Featuring DJ Dynamo of Vortex

Join us Saturday July 12th at 7PM for a night of fun, new friendships, and sweet nostalgia! We'll be playing popular 80s dance music all night long! If you're feeling hungry, we've got you covered with a food truck on site from 9-12 to satisfy your late-night munchies. Our dress code is anything goes with a 80s Nostalgia themed preference. Dust off your track suits, Doc Martens, crop tops, mini skirts, side pony tails, neon shirts, and graphic print tops and shoes, and channel your inner 80's kid. And if 80s fashion isn't your thing, no problem! Just add a scrunchie to your normal look or some wild eyeshadow. We want you to have fun and be yourself! This event is for everyone, regardless of your 80s knowledge or fashion sense. We're all about inclusivity and having a great time together!

Rent assistance Rent assistance

Hello, I’m new to the Columbus community and I moved here a few months back. I started to working at a job that guaranteed me and my roommate hours then we ended up not getting out on the schedule for weeks then once we actually started working there we only got about 10 hours.. long story short we fell behind on rent and now we’re about to face eviction court. We do work now and talked to our landlord about catching up but they are not willing to work with us and want the full amount of rent. Does anyone know of any assistance we can apply for or have any advice. I also have dd and Instacart.

Date night Columbus Date night Columbus

Hey, looking for a date night restaurant near some where downtown Columbus. This weekend. Key requests: • Somewhere with nice food and nice environment • Budget around 150 dollar. We don't drink so just the food. • Steakhouses yes and currently thinking about The Top, looking for something a bit more unique. • My girl and I don't drink so alcohol is not our priority just the food, the vibe and the price. • Really really just care about high quality/tasty food and overall vibe experience. My group is looking to fill in 2 adult player spots for our upcoming in-person 5e DnD campaign. The group currently has 3 players, all recently got into the game last year and we're all raring to play through another campaign. The group is friendly and very open to new players, and more than willing to help folks learn the game.

We'll be playing in Reynoldsburg, Saturday mornings from ~ 1030-230pm biweekly. Aiming for the first session in the next month or so.

If interested please send me a PM with little bit about yourself, any familiarity/experience with DnD, and any questions you may have.

Filled the two spots!

Hello Reddit,

I'm in urgent need of assistance. I'm searching for a job that accommodates my specific circumstances. I struggle with back issues, ADHD, anxiety, clinical depression, and potentially autism (which I'm still awaiting testing for). While freelance work has provided flexibility, it's become unreliable with significantly reduced opportunities. Time is running short as I need to renew my lease next week. I've discussed financial assistance options with my therapist and counselor, but they require more time to explore. Can anyone recommend job opportunities suitable for someone with my challenges that are currently available? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

What does the social life offer for a 26M newcomer? What does the social life offer for a 26M newcomer?

Thinking bout moving to Columbus within a year or sooner.

I’m into outdoor recreational activities, parks, trails, photography, Videography fitness, playing sports, video games, and anime. Outgoing introvert. Meeting ppl and making friends is easy for me too

I don’t drink or smoke, but I’ll still attend parties/bars/lounges depending on the occasion.

What’s the social life been like for those that lived here for at least 2yrs?
