I'm currently studying for level 2/step 2 (will be taking both). Question and this is also a question i've asked many interns during rotations who were DO as well, is it still important to take step 1? I can take it considering my background for the material is still there, but for specialties like EM or PMR, would you consider it crucial if you want to match in the northeast area.
I have to take comsae 107b for my school in a few weeks and I need a 470 to be exempt from my school’s mandatory board prep classes. Does anyone have an answer key for 107b they’d be willing to share? Or just tips for what concepts to focus on?
I get that COMSAEs are meant to gauge your readiness for boards. However, I have auditory processing disorder + ADHD. I learn super well reading on my own but I can’t for the life of me keep up with what a lecturer is saying. I’ve been grateful for the option to watch lectures virtually because of this. It takes me probably 2-3 hours to get through a 50 min lecture because I pause and go back so many times 😂
That being said I really don’t feel my time is best spent preparing via a mandatory board prep class. So any tips or questions you remember would be greatly appreciated!
