Ask INFJs

I'm asking here because I know you guys will understand how challenging this is for an infj.

I have two friends that come visit me from time to time. Every time they ask to visit, they make it seem like they are gonna drop by for a short time and leave. They always say that have other things to do after.

However, they always end up hanging out at my apartment for way longer than I expect them to, and I don't know how to get them to leave. After an hour or two of socializing, I'm usually pretty drained or ready to go about my day and take care of things.

But they don't leave. They just hang around, even when the conversation stops. The other day when this happened, one of them took a nap on my couch for 3 hours. They didn't leave until 11 pm. I go to bed at 9 pm every night.

I try to drop hints that I have things to do or I'm ready for them to leave, but of course I follow the hints up assuring them I'm not rushing them to leave because I don't want them to feel unwelcome or stop visiting. They're very good friends of mine.

There have been times where they come over late and spend the night (planned), but the next day they won't leave until 5 or 6 pm.

How can I politely tell them I'm ready for them to leave my apartment? I still want them to come visit often, but it's entirely draining when they stay for far longer than I expect them to.
