Been hesitating to get NBA2k25 but finally bit the bullet, avoiding MyCareer to instead do a player lock in MyNBA. I'm doing my own progression system with points earned per game depending on scores / accolades, but I'm a bit confused as to the extra stats available when editing your player. Things like Pass IQ, Shot IQ, etc. Is this only for when the AI takes control?

Also, how do you stop natural progression during the season? I set my peak at 99 to start at 19 (current age) and end at 41 so I can do my own stat changes, but it's still going quite fast (+2 overall already in two games, without me manually adding points).

Any help with how to set this up properly would be greatly appreciated!

I spent too much time on mynba in 2k24... was gonna sit this one out.

However, saw a rumor that sim stats weren't horrific out of the box. Can any one confirm this? I'm specifically talking about like small guards shooting like 70 percent at the cup giving them like 50% + fg % for the season?

Took me a looking time to figure out what badges had to go so Dame would shoot .463 from the field.

I have put on the 2010 Lakers vs the 2020 Lakers in a playoff series and ive just watched the AI vs AI play and it looked pretty darn good this year.

i created a roster of the 12 teams from 1967-1968 with pretty much all of the face scans of the players from that time that are on 2k except lenny wilkins because i couldn’t find it anywhere! for everybody that isn’t on 2k, i created probably 90% of them. the roster isn’t perfect but it’s about 85-90% perfect! it’s titled “67-68” my gamertag is jeremykk0. i will b rocking with jerry west, elgin baylor, and the lakers, hope some of yall enjoy!

So I want as many created players as possible (i like throwing a few in per draft classes in my NBA), and would love to have more options to play with. So far, i’ve created about 40 players (most of which using attributes from player DNA adjusted to fit rookies more or to adjust skills) and i’d love to hear some ideas that aren’t my own for the fun of it. All I ask is that you reference a real player so I can have a base to build on.

I tried to do the MyNBA mode from 2017 onwards (Steph era) with an added created player, but it just redrafted all existing players onto random teams before the season started. Any idea why that happened and how to stop it?

I created a scenario that is simply just an adjustment of players positions to be more accurate with real life, using depth charts from ESPN, along with some of my own personal discretion. For a couple of the players, I put on "force non-starter" to make guys like Malik Monk come off the bench, which might create problems due to injury but you should be able to change it.

On PS5 was playing "the playoffs" on my nba,

i hit a game winning buzzer beater in a Game 7 conference finals, and once they showed a review and then the "Tissot" sponsored buzzer beater thing shows up for the shot and when it does....the game crashes

this happened like 10 times smh,

my guess is that the game registers a game winning buzzer beater scene of players getting hyped up because of the shot while also having to play the scene of the players celebrating their conference title

Is this still an option for MyNBA/MyLeague? Haven’t played in a few years. My friend and I used to do seasons and trade all the good players to our teams, but even though we have the trade approval disabled, we can’t get these trades to go through.

The glitch where after a few years the stats get all messed up and it says a player played for a different team they've never played for.

I added three new teams over the last 5 years, and the newest of the 3, Vancouver moved New Orleans to the East? Anyway to fix it, not a fan of uneven conferences.

For those who play MyNBA, what sliders are you using? I've recently started playing it more than MyCareer (actually have been playing MyCareer in MyNBA if I'm honest), I'm a little confused by the sliders, but am researching them and learning more about them, but open to suggestions on what are good sliders to have.

Has anyone got any myNBA Eras/ MyGM ideas? I want to do a rebuild but I feel like it’s too easy and I find myself uninterested after a few season.

In less than 1 day after attempting to play 2k25 I already requested PS network to refund my money after purchasing 2k25 digitally. I’m not like most people who the MyGM, MyCareer/MyPlayer or whatever other modes that are out there. I simply enjoy playing MyNBA with the simulations and having control of all 30 teams, making logical and reasonable signings/trades and guiding the teams on their current movement towards a successful rebuilding, selling, buying, or contending status. That being said, I also enjoy the random draft classes that come into play after each offseason

However, on 2k25, and I’m not sure if it’s a bug or just another issue amongst many issues this game has, but creating your own draft class is nearly impossible. I get the same player models with the same ratings just with different names each time I try to get a new draft class if I don’t like the generated ratings. Each time I leave to try to make a new draft class it repeats the same thing. Is anybody else dealing with this crap?

Not to mention just the layout of the game. I mean, this has to be a joke. They didn’t try to make this game look better. I’m glad they’re refunding me my $70. I’ll see what 2k26 looks like. I’m skipping out on this year regardless if they fix everything or not

Has anyone else had a problem where created players cannot have custom jumpers? I also went into MyNBA to fix the rookie jump shots, but it just defaults to whatever the base is?
