Is Ewan McGregor "more Obi-Wan" than Sir Alec Guinness?

I grew up with the prequels being released in theatre, however as a very young lad I watched the OT even before the prequels came out. I feel like this imprinted on me Ewan McGregor WAS Obi-Wan. He seems to have really taken the role to an entirely new level, mostly because it seems like he loves the role and brings that same passion into his performance. Thoughts?

Edit: Just want to make this clear. BOTH actors did a phenomenal job portraying Obi-Wan. I'm not trying to say one is better than the other, just curious what everyone's opinion was about the different portrayals of the character through the different actors.

Edit 2: HOLY WOW THIS THREAD BLEW UP WHILE I WAS AT WORK!!!!! Gonna be going through all the responses now. Really cool to see how much discussion this sparked! Hoping everyone remained civil because after all, we all love Star Wars.

Edit 3: RIP My inbox! Love the responses tho keep em coming!!!!

Edit 4: this one's for you u/sharksnrec

Edit 4.5: I keep seeing people mentioning James Arnold Taylor and not to discredit his phenomenal work in TCW series, I wanted to compare the live action actors. They are kind of different mediums (animation vs. live action) and hard to compare especially since live action requires not only voice acting but also physical acting. James Arnold Taylor is a very talented voice actor, just wanted to compare the movie actors. That being said I still appreciates everyone's opinion about JAT.
