In the past few days I've seen billboards for "#1 trusted news Epoch Times" on I-25 and job ads on Indeed for "grassroots" organizers for Turning Point (in the North Valley) and Americans for Prosperity. Beware! Epoch Times, Turning Point USA and Americans for Prosperity are not trusted sources! If you’re not familiar with these organizations, follow the money:
Epoch Times: funded by John Tang, a Falun Gong leader; originally a vehicle to spread misinformation about China and the second-largest funder of Trump advertising
Turning Point USA; supported by the Trump Campaign and dark money right wing donors; bussed people to January 6, organizes harassment of professors and school board members
Americans for Prosperity - funded by libertarian activist Charles Koch; fought the Affordable Care Act and climate change initiatives
Please get informed from reliable sources and don’t let these people lie to you or the people you love.
Keep it civl, if you disagree give a valid counterargument instead of spitting out some vitriol.
