I see a lot of people marveling at how maneuverable an F-22 is, or calling the F-35 “Fat Amy” because of how it handles, but I’m pretty sure aerobatic capability is no longer relevant, or at least not of primary concern) in modern warfare, and hasn’t been for awhile, so was just curious when the last time a U.S. fighter jet downed another aircraft with its machine guns was.

I know a few people/ flight schools that leave the key in the plane at all times. It is hidden, but nevertheless still in the plane. I would say it is close to impossible for a random person to come and steal the plane because the ramp is pretty secure, but I am questioning what the FAA might have to say. Does anyone have a reference to the protocol here?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it is the responsibility of the ramp/ground workers to ensure that all aircraft are far enough away from taxiways so all aircraft can safely clear them?

Apart form your standard flight controls and spoilers, we have swing wings, droop snoots, rerverse thrusters, flaps, slats, complex landing gear doors and even tilt rotors. A lot of moving parts on the airplane to keep up with the changing flight regimes and things that help to make the airplane do what it does. But what would be the aircraft with the most moving parts ? the airplane mechanics worst nightmare?
I hereby nominate the panavia tornado and v-22 osprey as first candidates, but i would love to hear your recomendations.
