Every night we have both players and coaches absolute losing their minds over what seem to be no-brainer bad calls. And quite literally nothing happens. It gets swept under the rug no matter how much scrutiny is applied. I think that Pistons Knicks ending was really the nail in coffin considering the next day the NBA issued a release claiming officiating is too easy on offensive players. Just absolute averting any and all blame that we simply have bad officiating.
I used to praise Adam Silver for his willingness to compromise and try new things based on both player and fan feedback. But I’ve never seen the nba I’m such a disarray over an issue that Silver just seems to pretend isn’t there. At this point I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Adam Silver is looking up at the sky and wholeheartedly saying it’s Red instead of Blue.
I understand politics and whatnot but what has to happen for him to publicly admit there’s an issue and/or do literally anything to fix it? Why are officials immune to corrective action when they are not performing at their job?
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
