The actor is Buster Keaton. He used to do all his own stunts.

He was a fucking legend too. He somehow basically had an indestructible body. He survived soo many accidents, stunts, and stunts gone wrong that should have killed him. He was well known for being completely fearless as well. Dude could literally just jump right off a speeding motorcycle like it was nothing, stand up, dust himself off, and be ready for another take. Dude was straight up suicidally fearless.

Until he didn’t…

He did. But unlike the one in this video, they’re a lot of stunt that looks just as dangerous as this one that are shown around on Reddit with the same tag line but that are mostly optical illusions. For example another famous one where he seems to hang from the needles of a clock on top of tower, where he’s actually just a few feet above ground but a clever camera angle makes it looks like he’s a 100 feet above the street.

I know that name because of Stephen King's book, Needful Things

In a post about factual information, posting the shitty colorized version is misleading.

He also co-directed the movie.

In fact his nickname "Buster" came from him being such a good stuntman, even from childhood in vaudeville. His given name was Joseph Frank Keaton.

He was a total badass
