Someone asked a similar question under the "Apple Watch Pro" poll, and based on the poll creator's response, the particular name seems to matter less than the actual product's feature set and positioning. So my guess is that the rumored "iPhone 14 Max" with a 6.7" notch display, the A15, and dual rear cameras as summarized in the MacRumors roundup, would qualify regardless of its official name. (However, the rumored "iPhone 14 Pro Max" with a 6.7" hole punch display, the A16, and triple rear cameras would not.)
But it's good to check regardless… u/aaronp613 any clarification?
This is a horribly worded question. Plus ≠ Max. We expected a Plus version, but Max is only meant for Pro models, so the easy answer was no.
Edit: Max as in the top tier iPhone Apple offers. It is not meant for just screen size, but largest screen size with the latest top features on a Pro model.
But it’s not. Plus ≠ Max. That’s why there is an iPhone 14 PLUS and an iPhone 14 Pro MAX. Those designations mean way more then size.
