The goal is to at once embrace, and poke fun at, the mystical aspects of femininity that have been previously demonized and/or devalued by the patriarchy. This subreddit is a Safe Space for Women, BIPOC, and anyone in the LGBTQ+ community. We are Sisters, not Cisters. If you do not consider yourself an ally, then this subreddit is not for you.
Can we all take a moment to honor the truth of these women? They were credible character witnesses. And they were mocked and harassed savagely and publicly. And they were right all along. What they said was true.
How many of us have had the same experience? I know what it’s like to be silenced and then have your story picked apart and questioned.
Can we scream loudly and bravely for these two women?
