I don’t know why, but of all the battles in the entire trilogy this is the one that always sticks with me. I find myself listening to the score of this battle frequently, unlike any other. And I love the other battles. They always give me chills and excite me, but this one holds a special place in my heart. Does anyone else feel similarly? If so, why?

If the fellowship hadn't run into an army of orcs, what were they planning to do after Amon Hen?

If Gandalf had been with them at Amon Hen, would the fellowship have been able to make it through without losing Boromir?

If the orcs hadn't resorted to using archers. would Boromir have been able to slay the orcs and stay alive? And on the contrary, if Aragorn had been in the same position as Boromir, would his fate still be the same?
