Just fully God now? Like does he have the full powers of God or is he just like, sitting on that Heavenly throne playing God?

How does an entity made by God become as powerful as God?

Did he just self actualize into the full powers of God? If so, what's to stop any angel from doing the same? We know multiple Godlike entities can exist at the same time, what's to stop Gabriel from just saying "I'm God too." And self actualizing it...

Amenadiel is Boring

Amenadiel is really boring after season 1. I’m on season 4 right now, and while he lost his powers I had a severe lack of interest. Whenever he showed up the writers just paired him with a side character, but he’d contribute almost nothing to that sub-plot. He’d instead just say “I gotta follow god’s test”. It’s really lame tbh. If someone’s got like some defense I’d like to hear it.

Why does Amenadiel have 3 powers?

I'm rewatching Lucifer for the 2nd time and it seems Amenadiel has 3 gifts: Slow down time (He lost it earlier in the series but I've forgotten whether he got it back or not), being able to bless people and able to show love from god to people who love god (why doesn't this work on Ella?) Why does every other Angel get one gift but Amenadiel seems to have 3?

So, when Amenadiel is disappointed when he thinks that Charlie is just a human - Linda attacks him for thinking that being angel is better than being human. But in basic terms he is right and she is just being petty.

What do you think?

That said a human that ends up in heaven in the series is not much worse off than an angel. 🤷‍♂️

Edit: just to be factual:

  1. Amenadiel NEVER said nor implied that he will love Charlie less because he is human. If you want rewatch the episode and that conversation.

  2. Amenadiel never started that conversation, Linda just started asking questions from he and he didn’t lie.

  3. As per note of other commenters he just wanted Charlie to have all the cool trait he has. It is understandable he was upset that Charlie will be susceptible to sicknesses, aging and death. Why wouldn’t he if there was a chance that he wouldn’t. It Is like buying a lottery ticket - life doesn’t end when you lose but you may regret.

Amenadiel violence

Why is Chloe upset with Lucifer breaking Julian's back? But the very next storyline Amenadiel is releasing street justice for Caleb's death. Later "Detective Amenadiel" unfurls his wings in the basement of the convent and knocks Hank 30ft unconscious, who wakes up scared of Amenadiel. These are the same actions Lucifer uses to punish "bad guys" with his red eyes and face, with the same reaction.

Vincent LeMec was caught with his gang killed in a way Chloe must know Maze and Lucifer did that. Just like Ella thought the church that had Charlie "seemed like these bodies died twice?" Chloe isn't dumb, she knows LeMec is only in jail because Lucifer caught him and scared him into pleading guilty, while his men are all vengeance kills.

Chloe thinks Lucifer went too far with human sex trafficking "broken dolls" Julian McCaffrey and Jacob Tierning? (So Lucifer made Julian a "broken doll") God gets to explode Dan for sleeping with his ex-wife? While the series finale ends with Chloe killing Vincent LeMec.

(Do we even need to talk about the dead bodies from Amenadiel bring Malcolm back)

Writers had too much situational morality. Sad these could have been easily fixed with 1 or 2 lines of dialogue.

how did Amenadiel overpower Lucifer

i'm not sure if anyone has ever asked this, i haven't seen it if so, so forgive me if they have.

Lucifer has been shown a few times to be stronger than amenadiel, their fight in the club seemed to prove that to me, but i'm watching season 3 ep 11 (the flashback ep) and Amenadiel kinda kicked lucifers ass. what's with the sudden change? i was also under the assumption that in the club Lucifer was weakened as he didn't have his wings, but he obviously did in this episode as it ends with them being cut off.

i'm not sure how faithful the show is to the comics (i think the show is based off the comic) or actual faith, both of which would have Lucifer leagues above Amenadiel (in faith Lucifer is "the mightiest angel" and i don't think i need to explain why comic lucifer is way more powerful)

so is Amenadiel stronger? if the answer contains spoilers idrc, so no holding back lol
