They did this last season of winter house too. Or maybe it was summer house. Who knows, who cares. It’s so contrived and boring

Amanda and Kyle shouldn’t have been on winter house. Amanda was barely there, came late and left early and they don’t really add much to the show anymore. I would have rather saw Paige and Craig there. Paige out of her element without the summer house girls would have been more interesting, plus Craig always does something stupid

It finally makes sense to me why Amanda and Kyle have so much contempt for Lindsay. In my opinion, Amanda is displacing the anger she has towards Kyle and herself for marrying a cheater (esp on national television 🥴). Kyle would rather they team up together in mutual hate of Lindsay than deal with their real issues.

I've loved SummerHouse for years but I honestly think it's time to end. Lindsey and Carl being happy together has somehow become the whole story line. Paige is bitter, jealous and something doesn't add up about the Craig relationship so she's deflecting.

Danielle's career and relationship aren't going anywhere and she's taking it out on Carl/Lindsay. I don't even like Carl and Lindsay but it's just sad at this point! How are they turning into the healthiest/most likable people on the show 🤣

I want to swing on Amanda's behalf! The IRONY that Lauren is barking down Amanda's throat for trying to suggest her boyfriend drink a little less and that she's trying to change him, yet if you take a quick look at Lauren's Instagram today, you would never know she used to "Send it!" She switched up the most and that's okay! But I can't stomach her being mean to Amanda for looking for grace for asking more of her 35-year-old (at the time) boyfriend. Amanda never got involved in anyone else's drama. She's taking the brunt of their feelings towards KYLE. They keep saying Amanda is trying to play the victim when Lauren and Lindsay play that card the most! Ugh this is so frustrating to watch. And even Andy's flippant "why are you crying?" is so maddening! I can't imagine being Amanda thinking she was making friends with everyone and finding out later that they all have it against you. I'm only 2 seasons in, so this may change, but justice for Amanda. This season 2 reunion pissed me off.

Here is the evidence:

1.) Always visibly annoyed by him 2.) Always talking about not wanting to spend time with him 3.) They have been married for years and both want kids but keep saying they aren’t ready. What? Kyle is 40 (ALL CAPS). Y’all ARE ready for kids just not with EACHOTHERRRRR 4.) They have relationship problems literally every summer.

It’s plain to see imo!

Amanda is stepping back from LoverBoy, though still involved, b/c it was affecting their relationship. Good idea, imo.

So I know a lot of you are die hard Amanda lovers. I am lukewarm on her. I think she's fine. I've found her very whiny and annoying in the past but she's become more likable and comfortable on camera.

As some of you have also noticed, her behavior was really different this season. She was nasty, irrational, and aggressive. I know that she said a lot of this stemmed from the stress of working a full time job, planning a wedding, and managing the show. I get that.

However, the way that she spoke during the season also came up in the reunion for me, which was only filmed in the last week or two weeks. When she said to Lindsay "I'm going to say what you said before, that I used the wrong word." There was something so ugly about it. Lindsay seemed genuinely hurt. Even though Lindsay does stir shit up, I think she does it to improve the show. She does it so conflict is out in the open- you can't deny that there was conflict between Amanda, Paige, and Hannah. She wasn't making anything up but only making sure they dealt with it on camera.

Amanda was smirking when she asked that, and Paige and Hannah were both laughing in the background. It all really bothered me. I'm here to declare that I see Amanda as a mean girl and it wasn't just a last summer thing, which is the narrative they've been trying to push.

Not sure if any of you watch/follow summer house or cast members but I am genuinely worried for amanda. Shes lost weight and looks unheathy. I hope she is happy but marriage to kyle would definitely cause me crazy stress

Adding to the noise of guest requests. CHD did a couple episodes with Hannah Berner, who basically crashed and burned this last season. She came after Kyle and Amanda constantly but they came out ahead in the end. They’re also badass entrepreneurs starting up their own company. Sounds familiar? 🤔

I don’t understand why Amanda won’t do therapy with Kyle?! I go back and forth on her so much. For one, I think she does put up with a lot from him but she is a bit of a princess. She seems to want to do the bare minimum and I wonder if the therapist calls her out on that? It’s the only reason I can think that she would turn down this very specific request of his. Sometimes she reminds me of a teenager who just wants someone to take care of her and she sort of needs to grow up.

I scanned by "New" and don't see this posted yet, forgive me if I missed it.

I had to make a post about this because my partner and I finally caught up on the latest eps and every interaction between Kyle and Amanda has us like 😱🫣

So first off, she doesn’t show up when she is supposed too. She pushes her flight back because she’s “sick”. Then she shows up, her and kyle barely embrace, when kyle isn’t thinking about playing it up for the camera, the camera catches him unpacking her clothes saying something like “I’m fucking over this she brought her whole wardrobe”. When he goes in for a kiss, she gives him the cheek. When he says he missed her, she has a physical reaction of shock, her head moves back, then in her talking head she can’t say that she missed him because she lives with him. She doesn’t attend the family dinner because she is “sick”. These are just the things I remember off the top of my head. I swear most interactions have seemed odd and not authentic.

My theory is they are fighting and were not able to resolve it before filming started. Now they are playing like things are fine because they don’t want to air their dirty laundry on the show. Interested to hear if other people are picking up on this.

I feel sad for them. Must be so hard to film these shows and shelf your real life. Part of me wants to be mad at them because they are supposed to air their dirty laundry for us to see. But then I think of winter house, it’s not exactly your typical air your life reality show, it’s a party house. And if it’s just a fight that you know you will work through, you don’t want to tell everyone about it because people store it in a different way once you (the participants in the relationship) have moved on and put it to bed. Basically I understand wanting to keep it private, as much as I want to know what’s going on 🤓
