With Pokémon like Wigglet, Toedscool and Dipplin in the picture now it could possibly lend to the theory that a similar phenomenon occurred with Alomomola and Bouffalant in relation to Luvdisc and Tauros, respectively. The only key difference being that Alomomola and Bouffalant share the same typing as their counterparts. While convergent evolution wasn’t a thing at the time they may have been operating off of the same design theory of regional counterparts to Pokémon with similar looking designs. What do you think?
Edit: Forgot that Dipplin is an evolution and not a convergent variant, following the trend of Paldean evolutions looking nearly identical to their prevos.

I have had great luck getting Alomomolas but have not seen an Audino. Not even on the nearby section. I’ve noticed people say they’ve caught a lot of Alomomola but no Audino.
Anyone had any Audino luck?

I have not ran into an alomomola raid since it started I have been checking the raid subreddit for one but those are few and far in between.

Luvdisc and Alomomola now share all their moves and egg moves. Does Alomomola get any better? Does Eviolite Luvdisc see any niche in ZU?

I was thinking about how broken Alomomola would be with teleport. If I’m not mistaken, it would be the only wish passer with regenerator and teleport. Idk how well it would fit into the modern meta, but I imagine it would be pretty good. Even if it doesn’t get teleport, I could easily imagine it getting flip turn when it comes to gen8 which would also be pretty good.

My wife just hatched a Alomomola from a 10 km egg. I really hope it's not going to end up being a regular part of the 10 km egg pool. We already got enough of them from the 7 km eggs for this event.

Girafarig
Abilities: Early Bird, Inner Focus, Sap Sipper
HP: 70
ATK: 80
DEF: 65
SPA: 90
SPD: 65
SPE: 85
This palindrome Pokemon is mostly useless. It has to use Rest with Early Bird to do anything. It's really sad honestly, fun design on an absolutely terrible Pokemon. Many have thrown about giving it Psychic Surge, but I'm not sure what it can do with those stats.
Alomomola
Abilities: Healer, Hydration, Regenerator

Mega Luvdisc. This thing proves that Scald doesn't care about your Special Attack and Knock Off doesn't care about your Attack. One of the most annoying members of a Regenerator core.
