Hey ,
My partner, our 3+-year-old child, and I have been cruising in the Aegean Sea for 3-4 months every year, mainly exploring the Cyclades. We're from this part of the world and keep our boat here.
Despite our love for these adventures, one thing we've noticed is that we rarely come across other boats with small children onboard. It's particularly uncommon among Greek sailors (we are Greek), though we expected it might be more common among other nationalities. Perhaps it's partly luck and partly because families can get lost among the many charter boats always in a hurry.
We're really eager to connect with fellow sailing families or individuals who have experience navigating these waters with toddlers. Any tips, advice, or if you're sailing around here with a child, we'd love to hear from you!
