I have a feeling this card will have a lot of finishes, so it will be given a high rating in hindsight. But i much prefer cards with fights that have high stakes than fights that have a lot of knockouts between two relatively unknown guys. of course its fun to see knockouts, but if there arent high stakes to begin with or if its not an anticipated matchup, i dont get that edge of my seat feeling of anxiety while watching that I love.

jon isnt fighting tom, so its stipe or nobody. so in that case stipe is more profitable
Yeah Kevin Iole seems to the only one the gets access to dana that is willing/able to grill him a bit on the tougher stuff. Even if dana gets mad while answering, he still seems to really respect iole.

i think because he didnt say he was committed to lightweight, some of the voters didnt even vote on him so his average went down. i remember reading about that a couple months ago

this was the review that made me stop caring what he thought about albums
saying that and putting it into action are two different things. you never know what fighters mindset is truly like or how focused they are behind the scenes. not saying i dont believe islam, if theres anybody i believe its him, but you still just never know
for me, his fights are pure comedy. i look forward to them as if hes a great fighter just because of how funny it is to see him call himself lionheart and the best in the division on paper for weeks in interviews leading up to the fight only for him to turtle up in the literal fetal position up against the cage.
i dont know much about wrestling, but why didn't bo go to the olympics? was it just his choice to go to the ufc instead?
not even trying to defend mokaev cause im not even a fan, but all the stuff about him being a dick to staff is just heresay to me and even if true, i find it hard to believe that he is the only one out of all the fighters that is. its suspicious to me that all this came out only when he was asking for more money on his next contract
to me it seems easier for the ufc to say hes a dick to work with and thats why they arent resigning him because people will believe it due to him not being super well liked to begin with, rather than say its because hes asking for too much money since a lot people are already scrutinizing the ufc about fighter pay
yeah thats definitely true too. i do believe his fight style getting shit on by fans was a big factor though. if he was knocking people out or having really exciting fights, then i really dont think the ufc would have cut him - despite him being shitty to work with and a flyweight.

since when does the ufc hate controversy so much though? their best fighter who dana currently cant seem to stop glazing has had some of the most heinous controversy of any athlete. it was more than just controversy with mokaev, it was his fight style too. the ufc needs to fight to make knees to grounded opponents legal in that case, though, because it will force fighters like mokaev to fight another way or get KOd
