The NFL today is almost like a different game compared to the way it was played back in the day. The players were often bloody and muddy, the quarterbacks weren’t treated like fragile primadonnas, and the logos and lore were legendary. If you are nostalgic for the Gridiron greatness of the past, this sub is for you.
-
1- Caleb Williams (QB)- Chicago Bears via Carolina Panthers
-
2- Jayden Daniels (QB)- Washington Commanders
-
3- Drake Maye (QB)- New England Patriots
-
4- "MHJ" Marvin Harrison Jr (WR)- Arizona Cardinals
-
5- J.J. McCarthy (QB)- Minnesota Vikings trade with Los Angeles Chargers
-
6- Malik Nabers (WR)- New York Giants; pairs Nabers up with Daniel Jones as his QB
-
7- Joe Alt (OT)- Tennessee Titans; locked in to get drafted by the Titans
-
8- Dallas Turner (EDGE)- Atlanta Falcons; another lock to get drafted by the Falcons
-
9- Rome Odunze (WR)- Chicago Bears; set in stone that Odunze will be a Bear and get paired up with Caleb Williams, Keenan Allen and DJ Moore in Chicago
-
10- Brock Bowers (TE)- New York Jets; Bowers is going top 10...no other way around this and him going to the Jets just makes too much sense as it gives Aaron Rodgers another weapon to throw to besides Garrett Wilson
-
11- Taliese Fuaga (OT)- Los Angeles Chargers via trade with Vikings; Fuaga goes here to the Chargers as they need help on the O line and Harbaugh needs to rebuild this team
-
12- Quinyon Mitchell (CB)- Denver Broncos; yeah Broncos need a QB more than they need any other position right now but go Mitchell at CB here to pair him up with Surtain and with those 2 at corners...the Broncos have something
-
13- Michael Penix Jr (QB)- Las Vegas Raiders; Raiders go quarterback and take Penix? Why? Because they need a QB too for the future just like the Broncos do but the Raiders are that desperate so I see them pulling the trigger
-
14- JC Latham (OT)- New Orleans Saints
-
15- Terrion Arnold (CB)- Indianapolis Colts
-
16- Troy Fautanu (OL)- Seattle Seahawks; go O line by taking Fautanu to booster their O line which helps Geno Smith at QB
-
17- Olu Fashanu (OT)- Washington Commanders trade with Jacksonville Jaguars; Jaguars trade out of this spot and the Commanders go all in giving QB Jayden Daniels protection in Fashanu on the O line
-
18- Amarius Mims (OT)- Cincinnati Bengals
-
19- Byron Murphy (DT)- Los Angeles Rams
-
20- Graham Barton (C)- Pittsburgh Steelers
-
21- Jared Verse (EDGE)- Miami Dolphins
-
22- Laiatu Latu (EDGE)- Philadelphia Eagles
-
23- Brian Thomas Jr (WR)- Los Angeles Chargers via trade with Minnesota Vikings; gives Justin Herbert a new #1 wide out as his primary target in BTJ pairing them up together with Harbaugh as their coach I like that
-
24- Tyler Guyton (OT)- Dallas Cowboys; Guyton is pretty much a sure thing for Dallas at this point and you can easily slot him into one of your tackle spots relatively easily
-
25- Cooper DeJean (CB)- Jacksonville Jaguars via trade with Green Bay Packers; Packers trade out of this spot and Jaguars trade back into the Lottery and go corner giving the Packers even more 2nd Round picks and 3rd Round picks Picks
-
26- Chop Robinson (EDGE)- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
-
27- Nate Wiggins (CB)- Arizona Cardinals via Houston Texans
-
28- Xavier Worthy (WR)- Buffalo Bills
-
29- Kool-Aid McKinstry (CB)- Detroit Lions
-
30- Mike Sainristil (CB)- Baltimore Ravens
-
31- Jordan Morgan (OT)- San Francisco 49ers
-
32- AD Mitchell (WR)- Kansas City Chiefs

I’ve seen a lot of players get caught recently for gambling and getting suspended or banned but how do sports organizations find out? Do they monitor player’s finances?
I personally think the offseason "wastelands" are always better than people expect. Unless they're blatantly tanking or rebuilding (like the Cardinals last year or Texans 2 years ago), teams that rank at the bottom of power rankings almost always outperform expectations. So what team is the biggest wasteland going into the season? And who is the buy on that team who will outperform expectations?

A Subreddit for all talk about the Los Angeles Chargers, part of the NFL in the AFC West division
As we all know, the majority of QBs drafted in the first round are out of the starting job before their rookie contract expires. Mahomes is the only first round QB to win a Super Bowl out of the last 38 drafted. The rest are on average out of the starting job within 3 seasons.
Hot take--but it bothers me to no end that the worst NFL teams continue to give the starting spot to rookie QBs despite the overwhelming statistical probability of failure.
And even more irritating is that Green Bay is entirely alone in their belief that you can create good quarterbacks by having them ride the bench and learn from an expert before taking a competitive snap. "HoW dOes GReEn BAy KeeP GeTTIng GOOd QBS iN tHE DRafT!Q?"
Will there come a day when teams accept that it is unwise to spend valuable draft capital on a position where immediate success is a statistical anomaly?

News, Events, Food, Discussion, and More about Detroit and Southeast Michigan.
A friend and I will be staying in brownstown Michigan to go to the NFL Draft. We would like to park as cheaply as possible and preferably take a single mode of public transit to the nfl draft area. (I’m not counting the People Mover… that’s fine, it seems simple enough). I’ve downloaded several apps and tried to figure it out myself. I’m a bit lost. Can someone assist? I can walk but long distances would be difficult.

Why does Stiggers enter the draft instead of becoming an NFL free agent and going to the highest bidder? For example, just last year Nathan Rourke left the CFL for the NFL but did so as a free agent, signing with the Jaguars before being released and signing with the Patriots. Why did Rourke host workouts with teams vs Stiggers joining the draft? I hope my question makes sense!

A community for fans of the 2-time Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams. Whose house? RAMS HOUSE!
Man so excited that the draft is only a week away. It’s been a minute since I’ve been so excited Ramily. I guess not having a first round pick in 7 years will do that to you. I’m tired of the guessing and the mock drafts. I’m ready to see who our future rams will be. I have a feeling it can honestly go so many ways with Snead and McVay. I do have a feeling we will get a WR whether we trade up to get one that may fall a little bit or maybe we can land Brian Thomas. I just don’t feel the edge players are good enough to take at 19. So depending who is there we may trade down but regardless it’s good to be able to watch day 1 and actually care about what will happen.

Outside of Williams/Maye/Daniels, make your own case who will be the top QB in this draft.
(For McCarthy, at least, many will point to the fact he’s expected to go top 10 - if arguing in favor of him, please explain why he will be the top QB outside of the Top 3 rather than just saying “because the NFL will take him higher than others” — Lamar Jackson was the last pick of the first round in his draft and I don’t think anybody would question that he’s better than Baker Mayfield who was the #1 overall pick that year).
