Upcoming Reddit Talk featuring Fabrizio Romano

As a couple of you managed to guess over the weekend, we will be hosting a Talk with Fabrizio Romano u/FabrizioRom_Official this Friday! He will be joining us for an hour to talk about his work and answer a bunch of your questions.

What is Reddit Talk?

Reddit Talk is a new feature where moderators can host a live voice call and invite users to speak. We hosted one about a month ago after a round of Champions League matches and it went pretty well! Users request to join the call by putting their hand up and mods can invite them up to speak. You need to be using the official Reddit app on iOS or Android to join the Talk.

When is this Talk going to be held?

Fabrizio will be joining us at 15:00 CET this Friday 10th December. He'll be with us to answer your questions for an hour. That time is 09:00 EST, 14:00 GMT, 19:30 IST and midnight AEST.

What will the format of the Talk be?

The first half of the Talk we'll pick questions from your comments in this thread. The second half of the Talk we'll invite users up to ask the questions themselves.

Leave a comment if you have any questions you want Fabrizio to answer and we'll take the best ones. If you want to join the Talk and ask the question yourself, just say so in your comment and if possible we'll invite you up.

Anyone else who is extremely sick and tired of how men on reddit talk about and portray women?

They make it sound like dating life hardship and loneliness are problems that are exclusive to men, and they describe all women as extremely shallow.

I'm so sick of hearing things like this:

  • "Women doesn't know what they want"

  • "Women always go for the opposite of what they say they want"

  • "Women are hot and cold"

  • "Women only date guys that are above 6 ft and have sharp jawlines"

  • "Women can just sit back, pick and choose among 100s of men"

  • "Don't take dating advice from women, they don't know what they want"

  • "Don't ask the fish about how to get fish, ask the fishermen"

Edit: By "men on reddit" in the title I mean the men who write things like the examples above. Not all men. Can't edit the title.

Please use this thread as an index for what is to come.

  • 7/22 Marvel's Animation Panel

    • Marvel's animation panel is from 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM PDT. The thread will go up 30 minutes before so you guys can put in your last minute predictions on what will be announced and what not. This Panel is confirmed to have Details from What If?... Season 2, Marvel Zombies, and X-Men '97. There could be more announced as its a hour and a half panel.

  • 7/23 Marvel Studios at SDCC Thread

    • Will go up on 7/23 30 minutes before the actual panel. Thread will go live at 4:30 PDT, Panel is from 5-6 PDT. Predictions

Reference Material

  • Official Sub Leak Accuracy Database - A list of scoops submitted to this sub and their associated accuracy. (Note: This databases is not updated on a daily basis and contains mostly post-2021 leaks)

Reddit Talk Rules

We would like to take this moment to outline talk rules and what could get you removed from the stage and possibly banned. These will consistently get updated with new rules depending on what people do.

  • Cursing. It is usually fine in regular threads but because there are younger people listening in these talks sometimes, cursing is strictly prohibited

  • Trolling

  • Talking about Politics

  • Being disrespectful

  • Fart Noises and other similar actions

  • Self Promotion

  • Not following Reddiquette and community guidelines/rules

  • Slurs

  • Intentionally trying to get the Talk off topic

That's it for our SDCC plans, we hope everyone will enjoy what we have planned.

Until Next Time, MSS Mods out!

If you didn't get your question answered today in the AMA with Kerry Cohen, go ahead and post it here and we may be able to answer it now or in a future one.

Note: These must be short. As these will either be asked live or edited down for brevity, questions with lots of backstory, multiple paragraphs etc will not be answerable. They would be better suited for your own post in the sub. Ideally, we're looking for questions that are between 35 and 150 words long that allow for discussion of a relationship issue. We will also pre-vet questions before giving them to any future Talk Guest - questions that involve deep fetish dives, trolling, and those that are not made in good faith will be removed and you may be banned.
