AITA for the way I replied to my friend after I told her I couldn’t make her birthday party.
You are the AH. If you did not want to go, just say it. Sending a photo of your (what still seems driveable) wrecked car a week or more before the party make me question if you also quit your job, cut out family, could not get groceries... and so on. Did you just shut down completely or just this one persons party?
