Martial Arts
Funny and interesting viral videos from around the internet. on Wednesdays we post frogs!
I honestly don't even understand how we have MANDATORY PE classes where we literally play sports (nothing wrong with that). Like playing around is fun don't get me wrong, but if you want to learn how do defend yourself you gotta find a coach outside of school?
Genuinely mind boggling to me. Imagine if everyone would be able to defend themselves, everyone would know how to disarm attackers. How much would the rape/assault or even murder frequencies drop.
You may argue that if everyone would be able to fight, it would also make the criminals better at fighting. But that's no excuse to leave the majority of population without any proper knowledge of self-defense.
I would also argue that this would lower the frequency of bullying since there would no longer be a "free pick". Everyone would be able to defend themselves to an extent, even if some would be better than others.
Edit: okay, the "disarm the attacker" was incredibly stupid. I would also add that learning martial arts can also improve your discipline, confidence and self-respect and I think that's why we need these days honestly...

Invincible is an Image Comics and Amazon TV series named for its superhero, "Invincible" ("Mark Grayson"). Created by writer Robert Kirkman with artists Cory Walker & Ryan Ottley. S1 & S2 are out now and S3 is on the way! Mark Grayson is a normal teenager, except for the fact that his father Nolan is the most powerful superhero on the planet. Shortly after his seventeenth birthday, Mark begins to develop powers of his own and enters into his father's tutelage.
I mean, seriously. Anissa didn’t even block Allen’s punch in the face. The Viltrumites aren’t used to anything that could hurt them and are incredibly arrogant. It’s entirely reasonable to assume that not only is it possible to get them in a leglock or an arm at, but then it doesn’t matter if Mark is weaker since he could likely do serious damage. Even if it doesn’t work, basic boxing/muay Thai would really help since everyone just flails angrily and throws haymakers in the fights.
