Users are expected to be civil and inclusive towards one another. This includes any type of personal insult or demeaning language, no matter how tame you perceive it to be. This rule also applies to user names and communications in modmail.
2
No Hate Speech
Hate speech, racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, xenophobia, religious based hate, inflammatory language, or dog-whistles of any kind are prohibited.
3
No Trolling
Posting to bait, incite, or inflame another user is prohibited. Anyone can post any opinion about anything related to wrestling, but provoking readers into emotional responses (about anyone or anything) is prohibited.
4
Stay on Topic
Intentionally derailing threads/comments is prohibited. This includes "whataboutism" and steering conversations into political/moral discussions. If you want to discuss another wrestling subject that isn't the topic of the post you are commenting on, either find/start a relevant post, or post your thoughts in the Daily Discussion thread.
5
No Sexualized Content or Sexualization of Wrestlers
Posts and comments focused on sexual content are prohibited. Please use other subreddits for this content.
6
No Memes, Low Effort Images, or Screenshots
Memes, superfluous image/link posts, screenshots or images from non-wrestling contexts, and other "mildly interesting" posts are prohibited, and should be posted to r/Wrasslin.
7
No Low Effort Text Posts
A text post should have sufficient text in its body to either strengthen the title, create discussion or add more information.
Use the Daily Discussion thread for low-effort content including: 1 answer questions, fantasy booking, random opinions, trivia, personal stories, requests for recommendations, "out of the loop" requests, ticket sales/transfers, questions about streaming platforms, questions about venues or cities hosting shows, birthdays/petty anniversaries, and AI generated content.
8
Reposts
Non-text posts (gifs/streamables, videos, links, tweets, etc.) that have already been posted will be removed.
Text posts that have been discussed recently will be removed and redirected to the relevant thread at moderator discretion.
9
Must Be Related to Wrestling
All text posts, and submissions must be about wrestling or wrestling personalities. Posts with a tenuous connection to wrestling (e.g. an action performed by a wrestling personality with no relation to wrestling, eating a burger or going to see a movie) may be directed to the Daily Discussion thread. Posts with an extremely loose connection to wrestling (e.g. a photo of McIntyre Family Plumbing as an allusion to Drew McIntyre) will be removed.
10
No Spoilers for 24 Hours After an Event
No spoilers within 24 hours of a show. For new posts, please mark with [SPOILERS] and select the "spoilers" tag, and make sure there are no spoilers in your title (keep it vague).
For spoilers in the comments, use Reddit's spoiler code or reserve your comments for a spoiler-tagged post.
11
No Clickbait, Vague, or Editorialized Titles
No vague, baiting, misleading, or editorialized submission titles are allowed. If you are linking to an article with a vague or baiting headline, re-title it. This also includes framing your post as an “unpopular opinion,” asking “does anyone else,” etc.
12
Social Media Titles Must Be Verbatim
Social media posts should be links directly to wrestling media or wrestler posts; the title should be [Author] followed by the EXACT text of the post (unless there are spoilers). In the case of photos or responses, a description or context of response is allowed. For social media containing spoilers, spoiler rules apply.
We do not allow social media posts from random accounts unless they are breaking news from a live setting.
13
Links Must Be to the Primary Source
Link to original/primary sources for news and other media. Secondary sources including aggregated social media or re-tweeted content is prohibited; the only exception is podcasts, where an article that has transcribed the content is allowed. Do not break up news/media articles into multiple posts.
If you are breaking/leaking information yourself – be clear you are the source.
14
No Piracy
No piracy. This includes illegal streams and direct copy/paste or screenshots of paywalled content. Paywalled news should be a brief summary linking back to the paywalled site.
15
No Posts From or Citing Banned Sources
Due not necessarily to the content of their reporting, but to their harassing and doxxing our users, the following news sources, journalists, and content creators are not permitted to be posted on r/SquaredCircle in any context - including direct links, articles, social media, and reports that cite only those sources.
WrestleVotes
RingSideNews
Brad Shepard
Billi Bhatti and "The Dirty Sheets"
Any post or article citing one of the above as a primary source.
