Why would Jay do this? Is there a lore reason?

MillennialsAre40
replied to JM665

Republicans like to wax nostalgic about the old days, they miss the bath houses and glory holes, and park toilet stall meetups. Where's the fun in being gay if it isn't taboo?

Same with how they think women should be back in the kitchen taking care of the home (but of course won't raise wages so families could actually live on one working parent)

Confused about the Consent for the Home Office forms
USA

I'm switching from my graduate visa to my skilled worker visa, and part of the process was printing out these Consent for the Home Office forms. I clearly only need the first form, but do I post it? Or bring it to my document meeting? My document meeting just says I need my US passport.

Why does everyone hate order of the pheonix

I always loved it because it was the first one I had to wait for release date on, so I was super excited. It's also the one I would have been a first year in (If I were English)

I'm understandably a bit defensive as it's coming off a post that people have been down voting because they go 'oh V5 can't go past 6 dots you can't play elders!!!1!!' which is a stupid take from people who've never run a BP5 or 6 character

The discussion isn't just about blood pools though, why are you hyper focusing on that? It's about people wanting to play "high powered" and the high BP does that. Reducing the cost of disciplines (on average) is one way, but also discipline power bonus and higher mend amounts

Have you tried it in play or are you just theory crafting? I've run about 300 sessions of V5 since it came out since launch. While the system is by no means perfect, and I have opinions on things that need adjusting and clarification, the hunger system imo works great and the players have definitely never been 'weak'. Every now and then someone gets a bad run of rouse rolls and jumps from 1 to 5 in a single combat, but that just makes it a more tense fight, and they can get right back down to 0 afterwards from one person if they needed to.

But also in V5 most first level powers don't use blood at all. It's different mechanics, but you could still play vampire avengers if you wanted to. V5 characters aren't weaker versus their antagonists than v20 ones were Vs their's.

Killing doesn't necessarily cause stains. That's determined by the chronicle tenets. You could have a tenet of don't kill innocents which would leave the people you're avengers with fangs are fighting as open season for reducing hunger

You absolutely can. Those level 5 discipline powers are strong in V5, and high BP makes it easier to use it without burning through hunger

For me it was the main character. I tried playing TW1, hated Geralt and couldn't get into it. Got TW3 because everyone said it was basically a GOAT. And I still just have zero interest in Geralt or this story

I find Nenio charming. I'd romance her if given the option (granted I'm romancing everyone once across the various playthroughs, but I would choose her over Camellia for sure)

Vampyr. Took probably a 3 year break between buying and starting it, then finishing it (though I did restart it). It's a good game it's just heavily front loaded with dialogue and exposition.

We'll see if Biomutant breaks that record since I put that on hold shortly after buying it as well
