Space X has an excellent track record for launches so the risk is minimal.

Beyond that, the stock would definitely fall pretty far on a launch failure but with the new cadence of satellites going up quickly (the next batch is launching later this year or Q1 next year), it shouldn’t effect the overall business plan as much as people may think.

I will say that Astra, at least from what I remember, was a rocket company more akin to Rocket Lab and the launch failure was their own product. It’s not really a fair comparison to say a failure of your own product working is the same as another company destroying your product

The premium was shit for a long time and when it started to climb it never felt safe. It’s a damn good thing I didn’t sell any at this point or I’d be like the person I responded to.

I agree. My taste in bad movies are generally movies that were filmed seriously but are just terrible in the best way like Troll 2.

I give some leeway to fun horror movies like Gingerdead Man but movies like Sharknado that are purposely filmed to be terrible and everyone is in on it just aren’t my thing.

RIVN is a hard pass at these prices. I thought about buying some when it went below $9 but felt they really had nothing going for them for a while.

The VW investment was out of the blue with nothing company side propelling the stock.

The revenue they’d be generating off of 5 satellites is going to be low. They’re blowing through cash like crazy to build out the new satellites as well so even if they are revenue even, they’re still going to need tons of new cash. The plan is to build out like 5 new sats a month in 2025.

I’ve been an ASTS bull for years and am still holding it all at a massive profit with no plans to sell but you can’t be serious about that BoA PT. That target is like 5-10 years from now if everything is executed perfectly and there’s almost no competition.

ASTS will be very lucky if it hits $200 in 5 years.

The price movement is the shorts all closing as their thesis is wrecked.

Price discovery is where we’re at now and it could keep on going from here.

$50 seems crazy by year end but if the launch in September goes well, the unfurling is flawless, and Block 3 is delivered by year end (or at least on track for early Q1) then maybe I could see $30’s.
