It’s amazing how smoking has practically disappeared. Considering how ubiquitous it was in my youth. People smoked everywhere. It was weird if you got into someone’s car or went to a restaurant or someone’s house and it didn’t stink like tobacco smoke and ash.

My genuine hope is that a Harris Walz win will make these extremists take off their rage colored glasses and see how lovely just getting along with each other is. End the outrage and make dinner for your neighbors. Literally break bread. I may not see eye to eye on issues with my neighbors but everyone needs to eat. Have a neighborhood cookout. Be aware of peoples cultural and dietary preferences. I think we should have a national holiday every month called “Neighborhood Cookout” day. Set aside JUST for getting to know our community.
