Mine is the Pottsville Maroons curse. Because the Pottsville Maroons had the 1925 NFL championship taken from them and given to the Cardinals, legend says that the people of Pottsville put a curse on the Cardinals, leading to nearly a century of ineptitude for the Cardinals

The only other QBs in the past 7 drafts with similar profiles as Daniels are Baker Mayfield, RGIII and Deshaun Watson.
Considering that it took 5 years to get those numbers it's high risk to draft Daniels imo.
In terms of the rest of the class. Maye and Williams have very little risk:
0 bottom 10 categories
Caleb Williams
Drake Maye
1 bottom 10 categories
JJ McCarthy (bottom 10 career best passing TDs)
Spencer Rattler (bottom 10 offensive ppg variance)
I think if you're drafting a QB and you aren't getting Maye or Williams, your next best bet is Rattler. Penix wasn't supposed to be included because he's not a top 6 prospect for me but since I added McCarthy due to consensus I added Penix and he would have 7 bottom 10.

Seems oddz to me that the teams that win it all have young rookie QBs on low contract. When's the last time a huge contract QB won it all?
It seems teams that dump a 5th or more of their cap space into QB fail.... Besides Mahomes.
What am I missing?
Am I drunk on optimism and overreacting? Fuck yes.
Next best, IMHO, would be Bengals with Chase/Higgins.
Hell, I'd say we have the most potent offense entirely.
Brown
Smith
Goedert
Barkley
We are gonna be good if not great for the next 3-4 years, at least, confirmed. Need some solid defensive draft picks to hit, but this offense just looks like it's gonna be nuts.

The NFL today is almost like a different game compared to the way it was played back in the day. The players were often bloody and muddy, the quarterbacks weren’t treated like fragile primadonnas, and the logos and lore were legendary. If you are nostalgic for the Gridiron greatness of the past, this sub is for you.
