This reminds me of when I travelled to the US and we bussed down from Boston to Manhattan... I got so drunk on the bus and blacked out. No idea how my friend managed to get me to bed, but I woke up at like 2am and was starving and hungover. Opened the blinds to have a look at the view and there was a 24 hour pizza place across the road. It was like a blessing lol I booked it over there

black spot near camera flip5

Mine got this too, but on the 4. Which is how I got upgraded to the 6 because it was the THIRD time it happened, so the store I bought it from had to upgrade me as per my protection plan. Every time, it started with little blobs on the crease, and then turned into a line of pixels (bright pink!).

Ended up paying $300 to upgrade, and they gave me a $400 voucher 😎

For those WFH: do you do your morning routine during company hours?

I just have an object that holds a key down. Go to desktop, object is holding key, I am 'online'.

Does anyone else feel like they're 'in the way' at the supermarket?

Good point. I've noticed people seem to not want to use their words anymore. They'll just kind of hover near you. Saying 'excuse me' is fine, people. Don't just awkwardly move gradually closer to me lol, I do not have eyes in the back of my head!

What’s something fucked up that happened to you as a kid, that you didn’t think twice about until adulthood?

I used to trap bees in glass jars and then shake the everloving shit out of the jar. Who knows why. Feel so bad about it now.

Would you quit whatever Vice you have for 1 year if you got 1.5 million dollars at the end?

Mine, when he was just a tiny kitten, climbed up into my couch lol. There was a hole in the lining underneath so he was literally inside the couch. I was absolutely devastated, up late walking around the neighborhood calling for him... then heard a tiny 'meow' when I got back home, and there he was, the little shit.

The Paronchestus cornutus (stick insect) from Australia. Before it was identified it was called 'a creature from Hell'.

You only really need to be scared of the magpies lol. Everything else is just minding its own business.

Best brothy soups

Adding to this, there's a guy called Alfiecooks on Instagram and he posts AMAZING vegan recipes - he has a ramen one with gochujang + pb in the broth which is what made me think of him :) I know you're not asking for ramen lol but his page might give you some ideas!

Aldi follows Coles, Woolworths into self-service checkouts

Really varies from store to store and what time of day, but yeah, generally speaking. Wait maybe 5 mins for the person in front of me to be checked out, get all my shit scanned in like 2 minutes, get out.

Aldi follows Coles, Woolworths into self-service checkouts

LICK-A-DICK

Yep I was at Aldi last night and it was complete chaos. I went through the normal checkout and the guy serving me had to leave twice to help other people with issues at self checkout. It honestly reminded me of FNAF or something because he had to keep one eye on me and one eye on the screen behind him, and was having to yell at people across the room to ask if they needed any help.

I'm kind of bummed out about it honestly. Aldi was so efficient and fast to go through, and it's nice not having to use a self checkout as a change from Colesworth sometimes!
