Afgelopen februari stond mijn Tesla Model S, opeens met 0% batterij. Een paar uur eerder nog met 58%
Tesla service gebeld, die kon zien dat er iets mis was met het Battery Management System.
Ik heb toen besloten om de auto niet naar Tesla zelf maar naar mijn eigen garage te laten slepen door de ANWB.
Zij kwamen er toen achter dat de 12V batterij stuk was en dat dit kwam door een kapotte Dc-DC convertor. Maar zijn konden de auto niet resetten met hun huidige apparatuur. En Tesla weigerde dit op afstand te doen.
Om deze reden de auto toch maar naar Tesla brengen met een berger.
Nog voordat de auto bij Tesla op lokatie was, kreeg ik een belletje dat het Accu-pakket stuk was en vervangen moest worden. Kosten: 16.500,- euro. Aangezien mijn auto buiten de 8 jaar garantie valt.
De auto heeft toen zo een twee weken daar gestaan omdat we aan het wachten tot het pakket er was.
In de tussen tijd een gesprek gehad met mijn eigen garage, die me vertelde dat ze hadden geinvesteerd in Tesla specifieke apparatuur, waardoor zij het accupakket konden doormeten en alleen de specifieke modules konden vervangen.
Dus de Tesla weer laten ophalen, net op tijd want ze zouden net gaan beginnen.
Wat bleek na het demonteren en doormeten van het pakket, was dat alle modules van het accupakket het gewoon deden. En dat er niets aan vervangen hoeft te worden. Nu weer een week later, is de dc-dc (kosten: 1200,-) convertor vervangen en rijdt de auto inmiddels.
De vraag is of ik hier iets mee kan? Ik heb namelijk gelukkig niet de hoge kosten geleden. Maar ben wel de auto extra lang kwijt geweest bij Tesla, mijn garage heeft wel onnodig het accu-pakket gedemonteerd en doorgemeten en heb de berger moeten laten komen.
