AITA the for going to a once-in-a-lifetime concert while my husband keeps our 15-month-old? by thisisfine23 in beyondthebump

[–]stabbytastical 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Honey, just stop sharing things with your family that bring you joy.

The only, and I mean the only opinion that should matter in this situation is your husband. If he is fine with the kid, you are good to go! You have left them with a perfectly fine caregiver!

You say your family can never be happy for you - so don't share things that make you happy with them!

It's fantastical

And magical

I was RPing and saw a Fem Panda walking. I never paid attention to the way they walk so I tossed a compliment. First day back on Moon Guard after months of hiatus and I already lost the will to RP. I am a foreigner, did I say anything rude in English? Thanks. by [deleted] in WoWRolePlay

[–]stabbytastical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's fine, but a stranger with no context to your meaning isn't going to know that. Even putting a xD just shows that you think it's funny. Not that it's adorable.

I recommend saying "You look adorable walking", next time, instead of "You look funny"

"You look funny" is never a compliment.

Giving people compliments about the mogs, trp, those things are fine because the player has control over that.

The player has no control over how their character was animated to look when walking. That comment needed to be kept to yourself, or directed at Blizzard.

That person likely didn't appreciate your unsolicited comment about something they can't control, outside of NOT playing that character.

I looked at them in 2015, and am insanely amused at the placement of the arms in front of the man. They aren't his arms, but it makes him look so much more happy

What wouldn’t be nearly as popular if it wasn’t for the US? by bigbeantheory in AskReddit

I grew up in SoCal, too. My prom was on the Queen Mary. It was actually kind of neat. Not castle tier, though. No where near.

By virtue of your prom being in a castle, it is immediately upgraded to 'Hollywood US prom', which is way cooler than the prom 90% of us had.

My go to was to mirror them. They touch my stomach, I touch theirs. They look confused, I look confused. They ask why I'm touching them, I ask why they're touching me. It was great.

Yeah, ask them to name all the celebrity chefs they can, please. Tally them up. I guarantee you they name more men than women.

I get what you mean. It feels like a lot of the later night RP has a distinct feel about it.

But I'm kinda interested! I'll send you a mail in game when I get in

This is the one I've been looking for when I saw Sandler mentioned. He plays the broken man so well. Fuck, just thinking about that movie starts to get me emotional.

Jason Biggs : You see! It's never "Hey! You're that guy from Loser" or "Hey you rocked in Boys and Girls." No, it always comes back to that fucking pie! I'm HAUNTED by it!

James Van Der Beek : You put your dick in a pie!

I think there are some dragon bones in The Hinterlands, in Seradane. A couple gravesite things.

Yeah, but I honestly didn't learn about Mr Posh and his soccer career until I got my first job as an overnight worker and started reading celebrity magazines to pass the time before I started bringing in books

This checks out for me. I don't watch soccer, but growing up I could only name Mia Hamm as a soccer star. I didn't learn any male soccer players until I was older

[–]stabbytastical 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Naw, OP was up front with the girl that he didn't want pets ever. He shouldn't have "seen it coming" that she would pull a 180 and want a pet, no matter his reason for not wanting one.
