Zion is right on the cusp of the ALL NBA 3rd team. He doesn't deserve it at this point, but he's right on the edge for eligible players. If he can lead this team to five or six wins and average 30 over the final stretch, he could get an ALL NBA spot AND keep us out of the play in.

I’ve mostly watched games on network tv/national games. I got NBA league pass this year and the half time shows of 90% of games are the most absolutely random assortment of stuff imaginable. Just this week, I’ve watched high school kids performing traditional Bollywood dances at both Houston and Toronto. Tonight, I got what looked like an Albanian heritage night of dancing for the wizards game. I just want to throw a huge shoutout to all of these teams’ staffs that are in charge of keeping the crowd entertained at halftime because they are reaching DEEP to get talent on the floor.

3. most 5 by 5s in a career - Hakeem with 6. I think we all know wemby is going to beat this record some day. He already has one as a rookie, and all he needs to do is stay healthy.

4. most dpoys in a career - Mutombo with 4. Wemby should have more than 4 DPOYs in a career, but you never know how voter fatigue works with these people.

5. most triple doubles in a career - Russ with 198. I feel confident jokic, luka, or sabonis could catch this record. I'm leaning towards jokic breaking it, but also considering jokic has the most "sombor" doubles, so jokic doesn't really care about the stat.

In a word, narratives. I made the mistake of listening to a couple of NBA podcasts and I decided to check out what the shitheads on hoop collective were blathering about. They got into it about DPOY. On one side was the standard Gobert, anchor of the best defense...and the other was...Wemby? And the evidence presented was last night's game where he got 4 blocks against Jokic. While ignoring that Joker put up 46 16 and 6. If that was AD, the narrative would be Jokic had humiliated Davis.

Now I'm not here to shit on Wemby. He's the best prospect, possibly in the history of basketball, and he's had an incredible statistical rookie season. But I have watched the last 2 years where AD has been the best defender in the league and watched him be dismissed by the 'experts' for two reasons. 1. He doesn't play enough...even though he played more than last year's DPOY, JJJ and annihilated him at both ends in the playoffs. 2. The Lakers record isn't good enough for him to be considered, the hypocrisy speaks for itself.

It's like the thing about free throws and drives. If you want to make the argument, you should look at paint points which comprise of PnR plays, post ups, drives, cuts, alley oops. But no, these bitches don't do that. They quote the drive stat as indicative that the Lakers get an unfair advantage at the line. These guys are either retarded or lying.
