Where are all the women? by DukeThom in CryptoCurrency

[–]iamjustinterestedinu -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Oh no, not again

How come women appear to have 'problems' that must be 'solved' and a community "should' address the 'problem' (community taken more broadly than a subreddit)

Women who want to be in crypto are in already. They're smart enough to not need your male pity., probably making bank as they're described to be better investors than men

You'll attract the "victims' of your perceived 'injustice'

Look at some comments f.i. 'I lurk because I'm being harrased as a woman'

Oh come on! Do they wear a disguise to when going out?

And over here, tax office wants a part again from what you've built for your children

I think once calculated, in real life over 78% of earned income is taxed away, when dead minimum 10% of what's left and imherited

What does govt. offer besides being the largest employer with the worst employees as in untouchable: Bad service, red tape, an army without teeth, cops afraid of true crime harassing working folks over shit

It's slavery indeed in numbers

PSA: You should NOT take out a loan to buy Bitcoin. by takeahikehike in Bitcoin

[–]iamjustinterestedinu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Europe.

Funding the account charges no fees.

Interest for the cc withdrawel is appr. .8 % monthly

so a 5K deposit needs an extra 40 bucks return to break even for the loan each month

but, as I will refund the cc regularly, interest will get lower whilst the investment is supposed to earn ROI as I anticipate recovery. Let's say BTC to 40K next year so my 5k would do a 100% = 10k invested by then minus 500 interest paid in the meantime

If the investment would decrease to 3,000 and I decide to sell with a loss total loss would be 2,000 with interest till that date

So my anticipated gain (I won't sell after that year, but for the calculation) is 4,500

loss can be anything but I will sell at 50% down so limited to max 3,000 after a year

incl. 500 interest. So projected possible profit is 50% higher than a possible loss

That's the risk/reward I'm taking on

It's 22% actually Investing for long term, knowing me not being able to time exact entry points, also knowing liquidations can explode upwards too making up for that loss (which is relatively small to the actual beating my existing positions took. ETH f.i. took an even harder punch)

Leverage in market still there, on the short side that is for now. Imho it will reverse come Sunday afternoon.

We'll see

Hmmm, I must admit to use some cc-funding to add btc last thursday And tempted to do it again this weekend It ain't much, but it's an educated guess/risk reward gamble

It may get worse it may recover. Who knows wins anyway.

Crypto ain't for the faint hearted, that's for sure. But, I've invested from way before crypto developments and saw impact of f.i.1987, dot com period, Enron (and other accounting scandals),9/11, 2008 ->, etc. on 'regular' markets: my accounts were hit as hard as they are now

Where can I buy a computer prebuilt or parts with crypto? by eman56447 in CryptoCurrency

[–]iamjustinterestedinu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Europe, working in construction.

I'd be accepting btc, eth or lrc when a customer asks for my services. Would I pay taxes? Sure. Just because it's a wallet transaction instead of a bank account doesn't make it different.

What does differ is that by using my wallet, transactions are cheaper and more easy and cheap to use those funds abroad

So: wen adoption? imho is way more importajt than wen moon?

After 4 40+ day failed attempts I finally made it 😁 by bgtsoft in loopringorg

[–]iamjustinterestedinu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same with points. They are shown with a value, but not transferable to other wallets (yet)

I'm expecting more uses for points coming months because otherwise it's no use collecting.

Nice streak though!
