I don't understand picking a team as an adult in general. Like I've always supported Arsenal and will always support them because that's who my dad supported, that's the team I went to see as a kid etc
I never got into club rugby as a kid but really enjoy going to matches as an adult. I quite often go to a fair few matches a season but like, honestly I don't care which team I go to see. I have no connection to any so I just enjoy the atmosphere and the sport and cheer for whichever club stands I'm in.
But there's no emotional connection there. No drive to pick a team.
Watching a sport without a connection is way more fun than having a fav team. If you have a team you cheer for them and only them. If you don't have a fav team you watch for the sport and the entertainment it delivers to you. Feels way better

I really don't get this point. PoE has those passives and "stat boosts" (which are important) built into the skill tree, and everyone calls it deep. D4 split that huge skill tree into 5 paragon boards and the class trees, and everyone calls it shallow. And you're also conveniently missing glyphs, and the fact that we'll have 5 boards.
Could people be objective for a second? We get it, d4 = bad, but at this point we're dismissing in-game mechanics.
Path of Exile skill tree does little to nothing to skills. It's the support gems that basically act as skill trees for the actual skills

He also mentioned the issue with "item power" aka the item level which I think is very important. Basically if you find a legendary or any item that rolls perfect stats, that item just becomes kinda pointless the higher you level because it's a lower "item power". I think this is a huge problem. Finding an SOJ for example at level 30 compared to level 70 should not make an impact on the item.
