This is why expectations are so high for the new zombies.

Basically Activision and they corporate greed sucked the soul out of Treyarch who haven't been able to work on what they want since literally 2015. Even before all this warzone bs, I'm convinced Activision forced them to make bo4 a hero shooter to rival overwatch

No Riot Shields

Fr it's pretty obvious Activision forced Treyarch to make Bo6 more warzone-like. Once again Activision is restricting Treyarch.

It's being compared to shipment because both are ultra fast gameplay where you spawn and see someone within seconds. Bo6 plays 80% as fast as shipment even with being 2x as big. The maps are straight up brain rot shipment style gameplay for no reason.

Half of rewind is unplayable and the entire pool side of Skyline is garbage design. The 2 medium maps we got suck. I'm not confident in the medium maps at all.

I agree with your points especially about how not everyone will have the item to counter him. I think if they decide to rework, they need to change his 3. It being a passive is pretty braindead. I'd prefer if it's a team/support ability to improve him as a tank and less of a miniboss.

He falls off against good players ESPECIALLY late game. The problem is people don't know how to play against him. Build anti heal items (toxic bullets, healing bane, etc) and movement. Best ways to counter Abrams. For early game make sure you parry too.

You didn't even read his post. He's not saying supports aren't active or impactful. He's saying in this game you can have the highest kills as a support early and mid game.

As an Abrams main that's how I play. I carry mid game but late game my damage carry finally gets their build. I then focus on CC items (knockdown) and supporting my teammates. For example instead of ulting on someone and punching them, I'll ult on them then shoulder charge them into my team and use knockdown. I stop caring about kills late game and more about assists basically.

JarifSA
replied to mama_tom

Yup that's the thing with Abrams. His gun is better than his melee, and it's a shotgun. It's more consistent and less counterable than melee. But at the end of the day, nothing and I mean nothing beats melee Abram for mid game. It's so fun. I've yet to try his gun builds bc melee is just too fun.

Abrams falls off late game bc at that point people buy anti tank items. He's still good for just harassing, distracting, and causing chaos while your carry does the damage

It's a joke. If you showed me gameplay of Bo6 1 year ago, I'd think it was just modern warfare 2019, 2, or 3 lmfao. It all looks and plays the exact same. Why is the warzone era so standardized, uncreative, and outright souless? Also what the hell does this game have to do with the gulf war so far...

When the multiverse appears suddenly we have a girl that can navigate it. How convenient ! Not to mention she contributed to the fact that in a doctor strange sequel that took 6 years, he was sidelined as the third most important character. It's obvious they wanted to throw in the grumpy dad and excited daughter trope that we got a lot of at the time.

I know what you're saying. At one point (I wanna say bo4 since it was a very repetitive cod), people started to get sick of 3 lane. They are amazing but they do get stale and play the same. However 4+ years of the warzone era maps made people realize how good they had it. 3 lane is king. These maps look like they were made with some random procedure generator.

They make the fastest game ever and also the smallest maps ever

Literally any Bo2 or Bo3 map would work. The 3 lane style is simple and a child could replicate it. Not sure what's so hard about it.

Literally none of these maps have flow. Not a single one. You go too far and you enter no mans land. I can't believe this is the same Treyarch that made Bo2 and bo3s amazing base maps and especially the dlc maps. What a fall off it needs to be studied. These are the epitome of infinity war maps post 2019.

Anyone else excited about having less guns with more personality?

We haven't had unique guns at all during the warzone era. Idk if it's bc of the theme and time period/setting for the cods but it's been disappointing. The shotgun in the beta feels like every shotgun ever. Not the greatest example but...

JarifSA

I bought every cod from bo1 to cold war. Took a break since then bc the warzone era killed cod. Heard Treyarch finally got a full dev cycle and immediately bought because it's fucking Treyarch who've never done wrong. Turns out this is the worst cod to be impacted by warzone yet. Sigh.
