Top 3 is very hard to crack, but top 5 is honestly there for the taking if he is good.
Seriously though. I thought Sea of Stars was phenomenal. I also like Plucky Squire though, so what do I know lol
As college football continues to trend further away from NFL style offenses, QB play will continue to trend down. Plus NFL defenses have gotten really good at pass prevention. So the league will naturally become more and more about what’s going on between the lines, rather than relying on elite QB play. (With the obvious exception of Mahomes)
Steelers play this weird brand of football that outsiders look at the stats and think we suck and just fall ass backwards into winning seasons and playoff berths. The reality is that we are a really fucking hard team to beat. We don’t make mistakes and the defense will kick your teeth in…. We just don’t have the offensive talent to beat true contenders when we get into January.
2010 was the best defense I’ve ever seen. 2008 was probably 2nd. Then this squad is 3rd. IIRC the 2010 defense forced 2 shutouts, in an era when offenses were at its peak… If we can keep this up and get a shutout at some point then this defense will go in as an all time great.
We have been for years. The only problem our defense has had in the past is that we will stop the opponent on their 40, they will punt it down inside our 10, then our offense would go 3 and out and Harvin would shank it out of bounds at our 40 and the defense was always back on the field in terrible position and gassed from getting 30 seconds to breathe before going back out.
The big thing this year is that we are consistently getting the ball moving. Even though we still aren’t putting up too many points, we are actually getting first downs instead of 3 and outs.

Oh I loved it. I got the platinum trophy for it, and it was the game I have been most excited about for this entire year. I just didn’t think it was as good as a few Mario games over the last decade. I’m still greatly looking forward to DLC and the next game is on the top of my wishlist.
